Telefunken AZ12 Full-Wave Rectifier Tube
Telefunken-branded AZ12 directly heated full-wave rectifier tube with a Y8A eight-pin steel-tube base and solid gray plate construction.
The five-digit code 21091 decodes to January 12, 1969 under Telefunken’s late contract-production coding system. The construction and production evidence identify this example as manufactured by Mullard at the Fleetwood, England plant for Telefunken.
The glass carries Telefunken’s commercial “Made in Germany” branding. The Mullard Fleetwood manufacturing attribution is based on the contract-production code and matching documented Fleetwood AZ12 construction.
Physical condition is attractive. The glass is clear, the Telefunken diamond logo and AZ12 identification remain strong, and the base contacts appear straight. No obvious broken internal structure or white getter discoloration is visible.
